🎬 My name is Aline, and I am a translator (English to Brazilian Portuguese). I mostly translate entertainment content (especially audiovisual material/subtitles), and localize websites.

🐬 The first game I remember playing (though not the first one I ever played) was Ecco the Dolphin, on my very first video game console, the Master System. As a 5-year-old, I obviously had no idea what I was doing, but that’s still the moment that made me fall in love with games. And yes – I am part of the generation that started learning English playing games, with a good old bilingual dictionary on my lap!

🎮 I’ve been a gamer ever since, other than a period of six years or so when my focus laid elsewhere. My favorite genres are RPG, puzzle, platform, Metroidvania, and visual novels. I have rediscovered my love for games in the past couple of years, revisiting some old favorites, discovering new ones, and marveling at the wonderful world of indie gaming, which I barely knew until recently.
